Parents
If you are a parent of a disabled child or young person and live in the London Borough of Barnet, then this page is for you. Here you can find our about the kinds of services we offer and how to access them. If at any point you need help, please contact us in the way that's easiest for you.
Here are some key bits of information about IPOP that you need to know:
- Every Tuesday morning from 9.30-11.30 during term time we host a parents' information and activities session. It's friendly and relaxed, and open to all parents/carers of disabled children and young people. Family members and friends are welcome too.
- Workshops and training sessions for parents run throughout the year providing practical advice and guidance on bringing up a disabled child. All sessions are run by professional trainers and are free for parents. Contact us for more details.
- You can make an appointment with any member of the IPOP team to come in to talk about your child and what IPOP can help with. We can also refer you to other organisations that can help.
